Professional Experience Required

  • Educational Background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • (Optional but valuable) Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Years of Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in electrical sales or technical sales roles.
  • At least 2 years in a senior capacity.
  • Industry Expertise
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and smart solutions.
  • Familiarity with standards (IEC, IEEE) and compliance requirements.
  • Sales & Business Development
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in industrial, construction, or energy sectors.
  • Experience in managing large accounts and complex projects.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies and meet revenue targets.


Technical Skills Required

  • Technical Skills
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical specifications.
  • Understanding of electrical design principles and applications.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office; knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and operations teams.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience for junior engineers.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in smart metering and smart solutions market.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers, highlighting product benefits and solutions.
  • Technical Support
  • Provide technical expertise during pre-sales and post-sales stages.
  • Assist clients with product selection, system design, and troubleshooting.
  • Interpret electrical specifications and tender documents.
  • Project Management
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, operations) to ensure timely project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any technical or commercial issues.
  • Tendering & Quotation
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, proposals, and bids for projects.
  • Review tender documents and ensure compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
  • Market Analysis
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Provide feedback to management for product development and pricing strategies.

Reporting & Forecasting Maintain CRM records and prepare regular sales reports. Forecast sales targets and ensure achievement of revenue goals. Compliance & Standards Ensure all solutions comply with relevant electrical standards (IEC, IEEE) and local regulations. Stay updated on industry developments and emerging technologies.
