Job Description – Senior Sales Manager
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager with a strong background in direct B2B sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4 years of experience in direct sales, preferably in software sales, and a proven track record of pitching products, conducting demos, and closing deals. This role requires an individual who thrives in ground-level sales, actively engages with potential clients, and builds long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Lead Generation: Conduct market research to identify sales opportunities and assess customer needs. Actively seek out new business through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Client Engagement & Sales Pitching: Meet potential clients, deliver product demos, and effectively pitch solutions that align with their business needs.
- Direct Sales Execution: Focus on B2B sales, ensuring a strong ground-level presence, visiting clients, and building rapport to drive conversions.
- Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations on products and services. Negotiate and close deals while handling objections professionally.
- Sales Reporting & Analysis: Maintain regular reports and reviews on sales performance, revenue data, and market trends.
- Industry Events & Networking: Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and business events to expand market reach and explore new sales channels.
- Customer Relationship Management: Gather feedback from customers, address concerns, and collaborate with internal teams to improve the overall customer experience.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to refine sales strategies, improve processes, and achieve collective goals.
Requirements:
- 3 to 4 years of experience in direct sales, preferably in B2B and software sales.
- Strong expertise in conducting on-site meetings, client visits, and product demonstrations.
- Experience in handling ground-level sales, actively engaging with clients, and closing deals.
- Proven ability to pitch technical products effectively and tailor solutions to client needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and sales tracking systems is a plus.
