Senior Satellite Systems Engineer

Job Summary:
AstroSpace Aerospace & Satellite Systems KSA WLL is seeking a Senior Satellite Systems Engineer to lead the design, development, integration, and validation of advanced satellite systems and space-based communication technologies. This role is responsible for ensuring end-to-end system performance across satellite payloads, ground systems, and orbital operations, with a strong focus on reliability, mission assurance, and aerospace engineering excellence. If you are an experienced aerospace or satellite systems engineer, this is a key opportunity in Saudi Arabia’s growing space and defense technology sector.

What you'll do:

• Lead end-to-end satellite systems engineering from concept through deployment and operations
• Design and integrate satellite subsystems including payload, communications, power, and control systems
• Oversee systems engineering lifecycle including requirements, verification, and validation
• Collaborate with aerospace, RF, software, and hardware engineering teams
• Ensure mission reliability, redundancy, and fault tolerance in satellite operations
• Conduct orbital analysis, telemetry evaluation, and performance optimization
• Support ground station integration and satellite communications systems
• Develop technical documentation, system models, and engineering reports
• Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and space mission requirements
• Support testing, simulation, and mission readiness activities

Requirements:

• Experience in satellite systems engineering, aerospace engineering, or space systems design
• Strong knowledge of orbital mechanics, RF communications, and spacecraft subsystems
• Experience with systems engineering methodologies (MBSE, DOORS, or similar tools)
• Understanding of ground segment and space segment integration
• Strong analytical, simulation, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in mission-critical or defense-related aerospace projects is an advantage
• Familiarity with satellite testing, validation, and launch operations
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills

Pay: ﷼30,000.00 - ﷼55,000.00 per month
