Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Agilist to champion Agile transformation and delivery excellence across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced FinTech environment. This role is responsible for coaching Agile squads, strengthening Agile maturity, and ensuring consistent adoption of Scrum and Agile best practices.
The ideal candidate is a servant leader who can mentor teams, eliminate obstacles, enhance collaboration, and align delivery outcomes with strategic business objectives.
Core Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor Agile squads on Scrum principles, Agile values, and industry best practices
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions
- Encourage self-organization, ownership, and continuous improvement within teams
- Serve as a servant leader to foster a culture of trust, transparency, and psychological safety
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Engineering teams to ensure prioritized backlog management and value-driven delivery
- Identify, track, and remove team-level and organizational impediments
- Utilize Agile metrics and feedback mechanisms to improve delivery predictability and team performance
- Promote DevOps culture, CI/CD adoption, and modern engineering practices
- Enable effective communication between teams, stakeholders, and leadership
- Coach individuals and teams at various organizational levels on Agile methodologies
- Ensure adherence to governance, risk, compliance, and regulatory standards relevant to FinTech environments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of overall professional experience
- Minimum 3+ years in a Scrum Master or Agile Coaching role
- Strong working knowledge of Scrum framework and Agile methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to build, guide, and sustain high-performing Agile teams
- Experience facilitating workshops and coaching at team and enterprise levels
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Proven track record of removing team and organizational blockers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Hands-on experience with Agile management tools such as VersionOne (or equivalent platforms)

Preferred Qualifications

- Strong understanding of team dynamics, emotional intelligence, and advanced coaching techniques
- Ability to interpret Agile metrics and leverage data-driven insights for continuous improvement
Pay: From $60.00 per hour
