Senior Security Consultant
Location: West Chester, OH (Hybrid or Remote)
Salary based on experience $90,000-$130,000 annually
The Senior Security Consultant (SR) leads projects of varying size and complexity with minimal oversight, providing both strategic guidance and hands-on technical expertise. This role designs and implements solutions that align technology capabilities with client business outcomes, ensuring value realization and long-term success. The Senior Consultant serves as a trusted advisor to clients, mentors team members, and contributes to identifying new opportunities within existing engagements
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Delivery
- Lead projects of any size with minimal supervision.
- Design and plan migrations and technical solutions aligned with business goals.
- Explain, justify, and document design decisions and their business impact.
- Implement solutions based on documented architecture and requirements.
- Maintain strong understanding of licensing requirements tied to solution features.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Client Engagement & Advisory
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic recommendations in their best interest.
- Understand client business objectives and align technical solutions accordingly.
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders to maintain transparency and alignment.
- Transfer knowledge to customers as part of service delivery.
- Identify additional opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with senior team members to pursue them.
Project & Operational Excellence
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Assist with project scoping, planning, and scheduling.
- Maintain project documentation and timelines.
- Track progress and adjust plans as needed to meet delivery commitments.
Team Contribution & Mentorship
- Mentor junior consultants and support team development.
- Share knowledge and best practices across the consulting team.
- Collaborate effectively with peers, leadership, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (5 years).
- Working experience with Microsoft security solutions, prioritized as follows:
- Defender for Office
- Defender for Cloud
- Security Copilot
- Sentinel

Preferred Skills
- Experience integrating Microsoft and third-party security solutions with Defender Suite and Sentinel.
- Knowledge of equivalent third-party security platforms.
- Relevant third-party solution certifications.

- MS-500 — Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate
- AZ-500 — Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
- SC-100 — Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect
- SC-200 — Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate
- SC-300 — Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
