About This Opportunity

We pride ourselves on taking a human first, AI-enhanced approach to SEO & GEO. We help our clients achieve real business outcomes and generate tangible ROI, not just rankings and SEO metrics. We believe in a team approach, so you won’t be operating in a silo. You will have a dedicated SEO Support Analyst, a team of dedicated SEOs to bounce ideas off of, and you will communicate directly with the Director of Digital Delivery.

We have recently launched our GEO program and are iterating to deliver the maximum benefit for our clients. The right candidate will already be embracing AI search with experience testing and implementing strategies and tactics.

Responsibilities:

The SEO Strategist will lead their SEO projects from strategy to reporting, directly managing client relationships, project schedules and deliverables. Your job will be to produce real SEO results, communicate with clients so they understand the value of your efforts, identify and address clients’ changing needs, and utilize project management systems to execute and track your work. This role requires proactive thinking and action, in-depth understanding of client businesses, and the ability to directly manage and grow client relationships.

  • Deliver best-in-class; solutions, customer experience, and business value.
  • Dive deep into clients’ businesses as if you sat client side, gaining an understanding of their UVP, business nuances, strategic and revenue goals, audiences, and more.
  • Plan, develop, and execute business-aligned SEO/GEO strategies for clients across a range of industries and business sizes.
  • Lead emerging tech GEO programs, embracing innovation and assisting program development in real-time to deliver real value to clients.
  • Lead regular client meetings via Zoom to review project progress, discuss results, and align on next steps.
  • Craft SEO-focused titles, meta descriptions, URLs and work with the content team to produce fully optimized content.
  • Develop strategic site architectures and internal linking frameworks to enhance crawlability and topical authority.
  • Navigate enterprise intricacies and dynamics to get work executed and realize results.
  • Work with enterprise size websites with massive pages counts, technical nuances, and complex SEO challenges.
  • Oversee and direct an SEO Support Analyst in executing daily tasks, ensuring deliverables meet campaign goals and timelines.
  • Embrace a role as an SEO leader, supporting the SEO team through support and mentoring.
  • Coordinate with the link-building manager to align SEO strategy with link targeting and objectives.
  • Utilize a working knowledge of site code to discover technical SEO issues, such as page speed improvements, site architecture changes and crawling/indexing issues
  • Audit websites to identify SEO/GEO issues, diagnose root causes, and implement scalable solutions that drive measurable improvements.
  • Analyze performance data and create insightful reports highlighting key metrics such as traffic, rankings, conversions, and growth opportunities.
  • Pin success to achieving the revenue and strategic goals that matter most to our clients, over SEO metrics and scores.
  • Leverage your ability to tell a story with SEO data, translating complex subject matter into easy-to-understand concepts.
  • Leverage tools like Google Search Console, GA4, and other analytics platforms to monitor performance and guide optimization efforts.
  • Identify emerging SEO trends, algorithm updates, and new opportunities to drive organic growth and competitive advantage.
  • Apply a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, javascript, and site architecture to identify and recommend technical SEO enhancements such as page speed improvements, schema, and crawl efficiency.

Candidate Background:

  • 10+ years of proven SEO strategy and management experience
  • Deep enterprise experience (both navigating organizations & 100k+ page websites, ecommerce included)
  • A passion for SEO and digital marketing
  • Currently using AI in SEO workflows
  • Educated in AI search & experimenting with GEO/AEO tactics
  • Forward thinking skills and proactivity
  • High attention to detail
  • Analyst mindset – always asking the question, “Why?”
  • You have a passion for data and interpreting data
  • Can “story tell” using data
  • SEO Tool Agnostic. You know how to proficiently use the following: SEMRush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Looker Studio and other SEO tools.
  • Experience breaking down complex concepts for a novice audience
  • You are always on the lookout for technical SEO challenges and can develop a solution to that challenge
  • You know what a CMS is and how to operate comfortably inside
  • Team leader mentality, with an emphasis on managing your time and your team effectively and efficiently
  • You take a personal approach to working with your clients to build strong relationships
  • Prior agency experience is a plus
  • Experience with enterprise accounts a plus

Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 DOE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
