Senior SEO Lead

We’re a growing agency hiring a Senior SEO Lead to own strategy, quality, and outcomes for multi-location and B2B SEO programs.

This is a strategic leadership role—not a task queue. You’ll guide execution, mentor strategists, and help define how enterprise local SEO is delivered at scale.

The Senior SEO Lead owns strategy, standards, and outcomes for our portfolio of SEO clients. This role is about decision-making, prioritization, and quality control.

Strong preference for candidates located within commuting distance of Lexington, KY.
Periodic in-person collaboration with leadership is expected.

Responsibilities

• Own SEO strategy for multi-location dealership and B2B accounts
• Design and maintain SEO frameworks (local, on-site, AI readiness)
• Review and approve all work
• Translate business goals into SEO priorities
• Lead quarterly executive strategy calls with clients
• Mentor team on SEO tactics
• Stay ahead of algorithm changes (including AI Overviews)

Required Experience

• Expertise in Keyword Research to identify effective keywords and phrases for SEO success.
• 8–12+ years of SEO experience
• Proven success with multi-location or enterprise local SEO
• Experience in conducting comprehensive SEO Audits and implementing improvement plans.
• Proficiency in Link Building strategies and best practices.
• Strong understanding of Web Analytics to analyze data and measure SEO campaign effectiveness.
• Skills in On-Page SEO optimization, including meta tags, headings, and content structure.
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Up-to-date knowledge of SEO tools and technology trends.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Previous experience in the automotive or outdoor power equipment and agriculture dealership industry is an advantage.

Pay: $62,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
