Senior SEO Officer

Serajj Company is a leading company in providing digital marketing solutions, seeking to enable its partners to communicate effectively with their clients. The company provides a wide range of services including developing communication strategies, content creation, design and marketing services, visual production, social media management, and various types of advertising.

Role Objective:

The SEO Team Leader is responsible for leading, developing, and executing effective SEO strategies to improve organic visibility, traffic, and conversions across clients’ websites. This role combines strategic planning, hands-on optimization, team leadership, and performance management. The SEO Team Leader will work closely with content, development, and account teams to ensure SEO best practices are embedded across all digital marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Lead and manage the SEO team to achieve performance targets and high-quality delivery.

·        Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business and client goals.

·        Oversee on-page, off-page, and technical SEO activities to ensure best practices are followed.

·        Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO audits.

·        Monitor, analyze, and report SEO performance and key metrics (traffic, rankings, conversions, ROI).

·        Identify SEO risks, issues, and growth opportunities, and implement corrective actions.

·        Coordinate closely with content, design, development, and account management teams.

·        Ensure SEO recommendations are properly implemented and followed up.

·        Stay up to date with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.

·        Train, coach, and continuously develop SEO team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, preferably within a digital marketing agency.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading or mentoring an SEO team.
  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar.
  • Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS basics, and website architectures.
  • Experience working with content management systems (WordPress or similar).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Experience working with regional (GCC/MENA) markets is an advantage
