Senior Service Electrician (Advanced / Lead)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Service Electrician with 4+ years of verifiable field experience. This is not an entry-level role — we need a seasoned professional with advanced troubleshooting ability, strong NEC/code knowledge, and experience handling complex service projects such as pole installations and lighting system upgrades. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership in the field, mentor junior electricians, and ensure projects are completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Lead advanced troubleshooting and electrical diagnostics (120–480v systems).
• Install, replace, and service electrical poles, panels, and larger infrastructure.
• Identify and resolve complex electrical issues, including wiring problems, circuit malfunctions, and equipment failures.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level electricians on technical skills and safety practices.
• Collaborate with clients and project managers to scope work and provide accurate recommendations.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, Title 24, and local codes.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time tracking.
• Safely operate lifts, trucks, and heavy equipment.
• Drive company vehicles to job sites and manage tools/equipment responsibly.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of verifiable service electrician experience.
• Deep knowledge of NEC, Title 24, and local electrical codes.
• Strong troubleshooting and installation expertise (120–480v circuits).
• Robust personal tool set required.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Valid California Driver’s License with a clean record.
• CA DMV Driver Record required before in-person interview (Request Record Online).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights up to 30ft.
• Experience with pole installations and operating larger trucks (F450, 3500) strongly preferred.
