Job Title: ServiceNow Consultant / Senior Consultant
Experience: 5–8 Years
Location: Pune / Hyderabad

Candidate Profile and Platform Expertise
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Consultant with 5–8 years of hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-wide ServiceNow solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience across IRM & GRC, Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), Discovery, CMDB optimization, and enterprise integrations.

This role requires deep platform engineering capabilities along with exposure to advanced ServiceNow features such as Virtual Agent, Now Assist, Workspaces, UI Builder, and App Engine to drive automation, governance, and operational excellence.

Core Job Functions

Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Platform Implementation & Engineering
Design, develop, and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions across IRM/GRC, HAM/SAM, Discovery, and CMDB.

Core Application Development and Automation
Lead end-to-end module implementations including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, customization, testing, and deployment.

Develop custom applications using App Engine and optimize user experience using UI Builder and Workspaces.

Configure and enhance Virtual Agent and leverage Now Assist (GenAI capabilities) for intelligent automation.

Integrated Risk and Governance Management
Implement and configure Integrated Risk Management (IRM) modules including Risk, Policy & Compliance, Audit, and Vendor Risk.

Design risk frameworks, control libraries, and automated compliance monitoring.

Align ServiceNow IRM implementations with enterprise governance models and regulatory standards.

Hardware and Software Asset Lifecycle Management
Configure lifecycle management processes for hardware and software assets.

Implement normalization, reconciliation, and license compliance processes.

Integrate asset data with procurement, finance, and vendor systems.

CMDB and Discovery Enhancement
Discovery & CMDB Optimization

CMDB and Discovery Optimization
Implement and optimize ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.
Improve CMDB data quality through governance frameworks and data health dashboards.
Establish CI identification and reconciliation rules (IRE).
Drive CMDB maturity improvements aligned with ITIL best practices.

Integrations and Automation Development

Develop and maintain REST/SOAP integrations with enterprise systems (ERP, HRMS, Security tools, Cloud platforms).

Implement event-driven automation and workflow orchestration.

Work with APIs, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and third-party connectors.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Delivery

Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams.
Conduct workshops, solution demonstrations, and user training sessions.
Ensure adherence to platform governance, coding standards, and security best practices.
Mentor junior developers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Prerequisites

Required Skills & Qualifications

Required Technical Skills and Experience

5–8 years of overall IT experience with at least 4+ years of strong hands-on ServiceNow experience.

Proven expertise in: IRM / GRC, HAM / SAM, Discovery & CMDB, Enterprise integrations.

Strong scripting knowledge (JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts).

Experience with: Virtual Agent, Now Assist, UI Builder & Workspaces, App Engine, IntegrationHub.

Good understanding of ITIL processes and CMDB best practices.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications and Additional Skills

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in IRM, HAM, or SAM preferred.

ITIL Certification (Foundation or above).

Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) is a plus.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
