Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with some overtime as needed
Education level: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Responsible for oversight of the senior center operations in Pope, Yell, and Johnson Counties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties include the following but are not considered an inclusive list.
Ensure all SACs operate according to AAA guidelines.
Assists with completion of annual AA contract.
Assures Home Delivered Meal Programs (HDMP) and Congregate Meal Programs (CMP) operate according to AAA guidelines.
Monitors cost and utilization of all meal programs.
Manages menus in accordance with nutritional guidelines.
Oversee hiring, discipling, and training of SAC staff at centers in three-county areas.
Assures all-necessary paperwork is completed daily for services billing purposes.
Coordinates fund raisers for all centers to ensure program and local income needs are met.
Participates in annual budget planning.
Responsible for assuring all sites remain within budget.
Ensures that all staff and program participants complete required training in accordance with agency standards and regulatory requirements.
Coordinates all required training for staff and program participants.
Conducts monthly Site Coordinators’ meetings; attends quarterly Contractor’s meetings and all required training.
Works with local governments regarding additional funding or building projects.
Works with and supervises Site Coordinators to broaden scope of SACs and stays current with changing environment to ensure services are meaningful and available for seniors in Pope, Yell, and Johnson Counties.

Maintains confidentiality of all information received regarding Friendship Community Care, Inc., Senior Center programs, and clients. Conditions of confidentiality shall be in compliance with Friendship Community Care Non-Disclosure Policy and HIPAA Policies.

The Code of Conduct and Compliance Investigation Procedures as read and discussed in the new employee training must be followed at all times.
Consumers’ progress notes be maintained and completed daily or as needed on the prescribed forms.
Consumers’ records must be maintained weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly. All information must be filed in consumers’ records as needed and updated as prescribed by funding sources.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma and/or GED preferred; preferably with one to three years’ experience and or training; or equivalent combination of both education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
