Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced and technically strong Senior Shopify & Full-Stack Developer with knowledge in headless commerce architectures too. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of Shopify Liquid, React.js, Node.js, and Django, with the ability to build scalable, high-performance eCommerce solutions.

This role requires someone who can take ownership of complex systems, optimize performance, and implement modern, conversion-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize advanced Shopify themes and custom functionalities
• Build scalable frontends using React.js (Next.js preferred)
• Develop and manage backend services using Node.js and/or Django
• Integrate Shopify APIs, GraphQL, and third-party services
• Optimize website performance, speed, SEO, and conversion rates
• Manage Shopify Plus features and custom checkout.
• Lead technical decision-making and ensure best coding practices
• Architect and implement headless commerce solutions using Shopify as backend
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure system stability
• Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented codebase

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of development experience with strong Shopify focus
• Expert-level knowledge of Shopify Liquid, APIs, and custom app development
• Strong experience with React.js / Next.js
• Proficiency in Node.js and/or Django for backend development
• Experience in headless commerce architecture
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservices
• Experience with Git/version control and CI/CD workflows
• Deep understanding of eCommerce performance, CRO, and UX principles
• Ability to handle complex projects independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Shopify Plus
• Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG)
• Experience working with international clients and high-scale stores
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Vercel, etc.)
