Senior Shopify Developer

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Shopify Developer who can design, develop, and optimize Shopify stores. The ideal candidate should be strong in Shopify theme development, custom coding (Liquid), app integrations, performance optimization, and troubleshooting. This role also involves collaborating with designers and marketing teams to deliver high-quality e-commerce experiences.Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Build custom features and functionalities tailored to store requirements.
• Integrate and configure Shopify apps and third-party APIs.
• Optimize site performance (speed, UX, mobile responsiveness).
• Troubleshoot issues related to themes, apps, and store functionality.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to convert designs into functional Shopify pages.
• Maintain code quality, follow best practices, and ensure SEO-friendly development.
• Manage store settings, product setup, payment gateways, and checkout customizations.
• Stay updated with Shopify’s latest features, updates, and industry trends.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers if required.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development.
• Strong command of Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery.
• Experience with Shopify Plus (a strong advantage).
• Ability to build pixel-perfect Shopify themes from Figma/PSD designs.
• Experience with API integrations and custom app development (optional but preferred).
• Understanding of SEO, performance optimization, and e-commerce best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of React or Vue (bonus).
• Experience with Git version control.
• Familiarity with headless Shopify setups is a plus.
