Senior Shopify Developer

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Shopify Developer to join our growing team in Faisalabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Shopify backend development and a passion for building secure, scalable, and high-performance eCommerce solutions.

In this role, you will take ownership of backend architecture, custom integrations, and advanced Shopify functionality while collaborating closely with designers, front-end developers, and project managers to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend systems for Shopify stores
• Work with Shopify APIs to build custom applications and integrations
• Develop custom APIs to integrate Shopify with third-party services such as payment gateways, shipping providers, CRM systems, and ERP tools
• Optimize database performance, ensuring data integrity and security
• Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code following best practices
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Stay up to date with the latest Shopify development trends, tools, and technologies

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Backend or Shopify Developer
• Strong hands-on experience with Shopify development and Shopify APIs
• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Python, or similar
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Solid understanding of API development and third-party integrations
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Headless Shopify architecture
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
