Senior Site Architect

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Architect to oversee architectural works, ensure design compliance, and manage site execution for our construction projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate will coordinate between design teams, contractors, and site teams to ensure high-quality architectural finishes and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all architectural works at site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve design/construction issues.
• Review and approve architectural shop drawings, material submittals, mockups, and samples.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure implementation of architectural details and high-quality finishes.
• Prepare and review RFI responses, technical clarifications, and resolve design discrepancies.
• Monitor progress and support planning teams with architectural inputs.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) and relevant international standards.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to resolve architectural–MEP interface issues.
• Lead supervision of interior and exterior finishing works such as gypsum, marble, joinery, tiling, metal works, glazing, painting, and façade works.
• Attend site meetings and prepare site reports.
• Ensure all architectural works meet quality, safety, and project timeline requirements.
• Assist in handover documentation, snagging, and de-snagging activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience as an Architect in construction projects (Qatar/GCC experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of building codes, architectural standards, and Qatar Construction Specifications.
• Experience in high-rise, commercial buildings, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.
• Excellent skills in reviewing shop drawings, detailing, and site execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and coordination software.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and ensure high-quality architectural finishes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR12,000.00 - QAR14,000.00 per month
