Job Description
Consortio is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Site Architect Engineer with strong on-site experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of hands-on experience overseeing architectural works, ensuring design compliance, and coordinating site activities for construction projects. Prior work experience within the UAE/GCC region is a strong advantage.
The Site Architect Engineer will act as a key link between the design team, contractors, and project management, ensuring that all architectural elements are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supervise architectural works on-site to ensure alignment with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely execution of architectural activities.
- Review and verify construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and materials for compliance.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify design-related issues, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Liaise with the design team to resolve technical queries, discrepancies, and design modifications.
- Ensure that all architectural works comply with local regulations, codes, and client requirements.
- Prepare daily/weekly site reports, documenting progress, observations, and actions required.
- Participate in site meetings and support the project team with technical guidance.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality control, and HSE standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
- 5–10 years of proven on-site experience in architecture within the construction or consultancy sector.
- Prior experience in the UAE/GCC region is a strong advantage.
- Strong knowledge of architectural construction methods, materials, and detailing.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Excellent understanding of local building codes and authority requirements.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
