Job Summary:
We are seeking two experienced Senior Site Electrical Engineers with 8 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on site. The role requires leadership, technical expertise, and strong problem-solving skills to ensure projects are completed according to specifications, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage electrical installations on-site, ensuring work is done according to drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and project teams to ensure timely completion of electrical work.
- Review and approve electrical shop drawings, material submittals, and other documentation.
- Monitor the progress of electrical works on-site and report to the Project Manager.
- Provide technical support to site engineers and resolve electrical design or installation issues.
- Ensure compliance with all electrical safety standards and regulations on-site.
- Conduct inspections and tests of electrical systems to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelines.
- Oversee the commissioning of electrical systems and ensure proper handover to the client.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports on electrical works.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering with at least 3 years in a senior site role.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and AutoCAD.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage site operations and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
