Senior Site Engineer (Civil)

Key Responsibilities:1. Site Execution & Supervision

• Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure work is completed as per drawings, safety norms, and quality standards.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site workers.
• Monitor daily work progress and resolve technical issues at the site.

2. Project Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP engineers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and equipment for smooth work execution.
• Attend project review meetings and provide site updates.

3. Quality Control & Compliance

• Conduct inspections to ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, IS codes, and company standards.
• Check and approve materials before use at site.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), measurement sheets, and work checklists.
• Maintain records of site activities, material consumption, and manpower deployment.
• Assist in preparing contractor bills and verifying quantities (BOQ).

5. Safety Management

• Ensure all site activities comply with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) guidelines.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workers follow safety procedures.
• Report incidents/near misses and take corrective actions.

6. Technical Support & Problem Resolution

• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work orders.
• Identify site issues and propose practical engineering solutions.
• Support the project manager in planning and decision-making.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience as a Site Engineer in building construction.
• Strong knowledge of civil works (concrete, finishing, structural, MEP coordination, etc.).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management tools.
• Good communication and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of safety standards and quality norms.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
