Senior Site Engineer - Civil

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Site Engineer to oversee the construction of civil engineering works on site. This role involves supervising daily activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards, coordinating with stakeholders, and resolving technical issues to achieve timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor all civil engineering activities on site including earthworks, foundations, concrete works, roads, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Review and approve contractor shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architectural, structural, MEP) to resolve site challenges and conflicts.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and document site observations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site.
• Assist in quantity verification and cost control.
• Participate in site meetings with contractors, consultants, and clients.
• Supervise testing and commissioning of civil works.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 7–10 years experience in site supervision of civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and best practices.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting civil engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with local construction codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
