Senior Site Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for two experienced Senior Site Mechanical Engineers with 8 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical installation, testing, and commissioning of systems on-site. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to ensure all mechanical works are executed according to specifications, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the mechanical installation process on-site, ensuring that all work complies with the design, specifications, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and project teams to ensure timely completion of mechanical systems.
• Review and approve mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, and other technical documentation.
• Monitor the progress of mechanical works and report to the Project Manager.
• Provide technical support to site engineers and resolve any issues related to mechanical design or installation.
• Ensure compliance with all mechanical safety standards and regulations on-site.
• Conduct inspections and tests of mechanical systems to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelines.
• Oversee the commissioning of mechanical systems and ensure proper handover to the client.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports on mechanical works.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior site role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) and related codes and standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage and lead site teams effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality.
