Senior Sitecore Developer

The ideal candidate for this position will have a broad technical skillset and extensive experience in this industry. As a result, the candidate should be able to design, develop and test the products required for the company's needs. Moreover, the candidate should be able to work with other developers in determining product strategy.

Responsibilities

Technical Development

• Design and develop scalable Sitecore solutions including custom components, templates, and workflows
• Build robust .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and related technologies
• Implement and maintain integrations between Sitecore and external systems via APIs and web services
• Optimize application performance and scalability for high-traffic environments
• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes

• Architecture & Design
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions for large-scale platform initiatives
• Design and implement caching strategies, load balancing, and performance optimization techniques
• Establish coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers

• Platform Management
• Configure and customize Sitecore features including personalization, analytics, and marketing automation
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with enterprise standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments
• Monitor system performance and implement proactive maintenance strategies

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Sitecore development experience (versions 9.x/10.x preferred)
• 5+ years of .NET development experience with C#, ASP.NET Core/Framework
• Strong experience with large-scale, high-availability web applications serving 100K+ concurrent users
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) will be a plus.
• Good understanding of database technologies (SQL Server) and ORM frameworks (Entity Framework)
• Knowledge of web APIs, microservices architecture, and integration patterns

Sitecore Expertise

• Sitecore certification (Developer) preferred
• Experience with Sitecore JSS (JavaScript Services) and headless implementations
• Knowledge of Sitecore modules: Experience Manager, Experience Commerce, Marketing Automation
• Understanding of Sitecore deployment methodologies and DevOps practices

Platform & Scalability

• Proven track record with enterprise-scale applications handling high traffic volumes
• Experience with performance optimization, caching strategies, and CDN implementation
• Knowledge of using monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Datadog) etc.
• Understanding of security protocols, authentication, and authorization frameworks
• Knowledge of search technologies (Solr, Elasticsearch)

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Familiarity with modern web development stack and digital experience platforms
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices
