Job Description

Ring0 Technologies (“Ring Zero”) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance complex software systems. In this role, you’ll analyze user and system requirements, create and implement software solutions, and ensure high performance, reliability, and quality standards. You’ll collaborate with system and hardware engineers, optimize existing codebases, and contribute to process and documentation improvements while recommending innovative technologies and methods for advanced software projects.

Required Skills

Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
Design or implement complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints; Perform quality control on team products
Confer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software
Recommend new technologies and processes for complex software projects

Basic Qualifications:

Current DoD Top Secret SCI with FS Polygraph.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline. May substitute four years' experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
Twenty (20) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
Strong Python and recent C++
Experience with K8s
Experience with GIT
Basic RF knowledge
