With our headquarters in Boston, MA, we are growing and expanding our teams located in different countries!
What will you do?
- Develop modern, responsive, and high-performance web applications using JavaScript, React (or similar), and Node.js.
- Work on both frontend components and backend APIs to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to build scalable, user-friendly features.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Implementing best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes within the team.
- Serving as a technical expert and advocate for innovation and continuous improvement within the team and company.
Requirements
What do you bring to the table?
- Solid understanding of Node.js, TypeScript, React, NestJS, and RESTful API development.
- Experience with Cloud technologies, Microservices architecture, Application Programming Interfaces (API) and databases.
- Familiarity with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with Bitbucket or Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
- The ability to clearly communicate and collaborate well with both technical and non-technical partners across multiple departments.
- Combining profound business insights, critical thinking and problem solving skills to set strategic direction.
- A strong technical background in software engineering, with at least 8 years of experience in the software product development industry.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle management processes.
- Good presentation, oral, and written communication skills.
- Experience in developing software in a regulated environment is a plus.
- Experience working in the clinical informatics, health care and life sciences domain is a plus.
