About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Apache NiFi for one of our Dubai-based banking clients. This role focuses on building secure, scalable, and highly available data integration pipelines for enterprise banking platforms. Candidates currently based in Dubai or India are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Apache NiFi and MiNiFi flows using a wide range of processors.
• Implement high availability, failover, and disaster recovery architectures for NiFi.
• Configure and manage SSL/TLS certificates, encryption, and secure data communication.
• Work with SFTP, Site to Site, HTTPS, and other secure integration protocols.
• Build and manage distributed NiFi clusters using ZooKeeper.
• Develop and integrate Java based microservices within enterprise data platforms.
• Ensure resiliency, monitoring, performance tuning, and stability of systems in production.
• Follow best practices for secure coding, unit testing, documentation, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands on experience with Apache NiFi and MiNiFi in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of NiFi architecture, processors, and controller services.
• Expertise in SSL/TLS, cryptography, and secure data transfer mechanisms.
• Experience with SFTP, Site to Site, REST/HTTP protocols.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and ZooKeeper.
• Proficiency in Java and microservices architecture.
• Experience supporting production systems with monitoring and troubleshooting.

Good to Have

• Banking or BFSI domain experience.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms.
• Prior experience working with UAE based clients or enterprise banking systems.
