Senior Software Engineer I - BE

What You’ll Do:

Develop and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot)
Optimise system performance, scalability, and reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, product managers, and QA
Contribute to code reviews and best practices to ensure code quality

What We’re Looking For:

4+ years of experience in backend software development
Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database design
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Bonus Points For:

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g., React, JavaScript) is a plus
