Senior Software Engineer — Laravel / Node.js / React

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Laravel, Node.js, and React to join our development team. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, has excellent communication skills, and is capable of leading features from concept to deployment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel, Node.js, and React
• Write clean, efficient, and well-structured code following best practices
• Collaborate with product, UI/UX, DevOps, and QA teams
• Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews
• Ensure adherence to security, quality, and documentation standards

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Laravel / PHP
• Node.js
• React / JavaScript / TypeScript (preferred)
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, Microservices, and JSON
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development
• Strong problem-solving & analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is mandatory

Nice to Have (Optional)

• Experience with Docker / AWS / Cloud platforms
• Knowledge of WebSockets, Queues, or Redis
• Experience working in startup or SaaS environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Karachi Shahra-E-Faisal
