Role Overview

This role is intended for experienced mobile engineers who combine deep Flutter expertise with strong architectural judgement.

For this role, Flutter is the primary mobile stack. You will spend a significant portion of your time as a hands-on individual contributor, owning and delivering features on selected projects. You will also contribute to architectural decisions, patterns, and quality across mobile initiatives. In addition, you will apply Android/Kotlin expertise to shared logic and system design using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), and help evaluate Compose-based approaches as part of Ipsator’s evolving mobile architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver complex mobile features end-to-end using Flutter, including hands-on
• implementation, reviews, and refinement.
• Contribute to system and architectural design decisions alongside active development
• using Flutter.
• Drive architectural consistency and code quality across mobile initiatives while remaining
• an active contributor on assigned projects.
• Review system/architecture designs and code to ensure maintainability, performance, and
• reliability.
• Apply Android/Kotlin fundamentals to shared logic and system/architecture design.
• Contribute to and shape shared modules using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
• Evaluate and guide usage of Jetpack Compose / Compose Multiplatform where
• relevant.
• Proactively identify technical risks, trade-offs, and long-term implications.
• Mentor engineers through design discussions, reviews, and technical guidance, while
• continuing to contribute directly to production code within project teams.
• Collaborate closely with backend, product, QA, and leadership teams.

Requirements

✓ Strong, hands-on experience building production systems using Flutter. ✓ Demonstrated ability to make and defend architectural decisions in Flutter-based systems. ✓ Solid experience with Android development using Kotlin. ✓ Strong understanding of mobile lifecycles, concurrency, offline storage, and reliability patterns. ✓ Experience designing systems beyond a single feature or screen. ✓ Ability to operate with ambiguity and influence technical outcomes through technical judgement, collaboration, and execution.

Preferred

• Experience working across multiple mobile teams or initiatives.
• Exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) in production or architectural contexts.
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose and interest in Compose Multiplatform.
• Experience designing and scaling modern mobile architectures in production
• environments.
• Track record of mentoring senior engineers or acting as a technical reference point.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,400,000.00 - ₹2,400,000.00 per year
