Senior Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead and grow our engineering team, oversee software development projects, and drive technical excellence across our products. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who enjoys building scalable systems, mentoring engineers, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

What you'll do:

• Lead software engineering teams and oversee end-to-end project delivery
• Define and drive technical architecture, coding standards, and best practices
• Manage agile development processes and sprint planning activities
• Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to deliver solutions
• Oversee system design, scalability, and performance optimization
• Mentor and support engineers in career growth and technical development
• Review code, ensure quality standards, and improve engineering efficiency
• Identify and resolve technical risks and production issues
• Guide backend and frontend development initiatives
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and engineering workflows
• Participate in technical hiring and team expansion
• Contribute to long-term engineering strategy and roadmap planning

Requirements:

• Experience in software engineering, development, or technical leadership roles
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design
• Experience managing or leading engineering teams is an advantage
• Knowledge of modern programming languages and development frameworks
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development cycles
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, software engineering, or related field is an advantage

Pay: KD2,200.000 - KD3,800.000 per month
