This senior role offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional specialist surgical care to patients with colorectal conditions within an advanced private healthcare setting.

As a Senior Specialist Colon and Rectal Surgeon, you will leverage your extensive expertise and experience to provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and surgical interventions. You will lead surgical teams, coordinate multidisciplinary patient care, and ensure the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments including history taking, clinical examination, and review of diagnostic investigations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs, utilizing advanced surgical techniques.
  • Perform complex and minimally invasive colorectal surgeries with precision and care.
  • Provide expert pre-operative and post-operative care, ensuring smooth patient recovery.
  • Lead and mentor junior surgeons and clinical staff within the surgical team.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and patient-centered care.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed clinical documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay abreast of latest research, innovations, and developments in colon and rectal surgery.
  • Uphold exemplary standards of medical ethics, patient confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Participate in private healthcare service development and quality improvement initiatives.



Requirements
  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with current license to practice medicine.
  • Completion of General Surgery residency and specialized fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery.
  • Proven extensive experience in the private healthcare sector performing advanced colorectal surgeries.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience mentoring clinical staff.
  • Exceptional surgical skills, including proficiency in advanced minimally invasive techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in clinical documentation.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best clinical practices.
