Senior Specialist - Disaster Recovery

Hiring Senior Specialist - Disaster Recovery for our Banking Domain Client in Riyadh, KSA.

Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.

• Professional certifications such as CBCP, CDRE, ITIL Foundation Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP) or any certifications in the relevant field are highly preferred.
• Assist in the creation, maintenance, and execution of disaster recovery plans for critical applications and IT infrastructure.
• Ensure all DRPs are aligned with the bank's IT systems, business continuity requirements, and industry standards.
• Help monitor and update DRPs based on changes in systems, infrastructure, or business requirements.
• Support the assessment of risks and potential impacts on IT services, ensuring that all critical business systems are prioritized in the DRP.
• Assist in conducting business impact analysis (BIA) to identify the criticality of applications and systems within the organization.
• Contribute to identifying vulnerabilities and gaps in the bank's disaster recovery capabilities.
• Participate in disaster recovery testing and simulations to validate the effectiveness of DRPs and recovery procedures.
• Assist in organizing and coordinating DR testing exercises, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and prepared.
• Assist with post-incident disaster recovery, ensuring that affected systems are restored in a timely and effective manner.
• Suggest improvements to disaster recovery processes, tools, and technologies based on testing results and incident reviews.
