Senior SQA Engineer

Cogent Labs is hiring a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer for its Lahore office.

Job Type: On-site

Must-Have Skills

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance
• Experience in manual testing for web and mobile applications
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and documentation
• Exposure to client requirement gathering and translating them into test scenarios
• Ability to define or standardize QA processes within teams
• Skilled in manual API testing (Postman) and SQL
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments

Good to Have

• Experience with Appium, Selenium, or other testing tools
• Ability to train or mentor junior QAs
• Experience working across multiple projects or industries
• Leadership experience managing small QA teams
• Basic understanding of automation testing

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail, ownership mindset and energetic
• Disciplined leadership with strong communication skills
• Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset (we value team players, not solo flyers)

Deal Breakers

• No experience in API testing
• Inability to train or mentor others
