Senior Staff Nurse

Job Summary

The Dressing Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality wound care management, including assessment, cleaning, dressing, and monitoring of wounds. The role involves assisting doctors during minor procedures, maintaining sterile environments, educating patients on wound care, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties

• Assess wounds and document size, type, condition, and healing progress.
• Perform wound cleaning, dressing, and bandaging using sterile techniques.
• Assist physicians during minor surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients for signs of infection or complications.
• Administer prescribed medications as required.
• Remove sutures/staples as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain infection control standards.

Patient Care

• Educate patients and families on wound care management at home.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate patient records and dressing charts.
• Report changes in wound condition to the physician.
• Record inventory usage of dressing materials and supplies.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow hospital policies and clinical protocols.
• Ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste.
• Maintain a clean and sterile dressing room environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
