Senior Staff Nurse

The Senior Clinical Staff Nurse will act as a credible and professional role model and encourage and empower other staff to develop both personally and professionally to achieve their maximum potential

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individuals to join our team in the Discharge lounge to support Flow throughout the hospital.

The successful applicants will work closely with a Band 7 Senior Sister to deliver high standards of patient care and provide robust support to staff across the unit.
This role offers a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills.

You will be expected to:

• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrate excellent communication, motivation, and enthusiasm
• Take on managerial responsibility for a number of staff within the nursing team
• Lead nurse-led care on a shift-by-shift basis
• Act as a role model, leading by example in all areas of clinical practice
• Take charge in the absence of other senior staff
• Manage and respond to complaints and Datix reports professionally
• Champion specific areas of departmental interest to support ongoing service development
