The Senior Store Keeper is responsible for managing all material-related activities at project sites, including receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and tracking civil and fit-out materials. The role ensures accurate documentation, proper inventory control, and timely material availability to support smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities1. Material Receiving & Inspection

• Receive materials, tools, and equipment delivered to the store/site.
• Verify quantities and specifications against purchase orders, delivery notes, and project requirements.
• Inspect materials for damages or quality issues and coordinate with procurement for replacements.

2. Storage & Inventory Management

• Organize materials systematically in designated storage areas following safety and quality protocols.
• Maintain minimum stock levels for commonly used civil and fit-out materials (e.g., cement, gypsum boards, tiles, paint, MEP consumables, hardware, etc.).
• Implement FIFO/FEFO for expiry-sensitive materials.
• Conduct weekly, monthly, and surprise stock counts.

3. Material Issuance & Control

• Issue materials to site supervisors/foremen based on approved Material Requisition Forms (MRF).
• Maintain accurate issuance logs and update inventory registers/software in real time.
• Prevent material misuse, theft, and loss by enforcing store procedures.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain updated records: GRN, Material Receipt Notes, Stock Registers, Material Transfer Notes, and Issue Vouchers.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports for management.
• Coordinate with procurement to plan material requirements based on project schedule.

5. Store Organization & Safety

• Ensure store layout is clean, safe, and compliant with company HSE standards.
• Handle materials safely (cement, chemicals, adhesives, power tools, etc.).
• Ensure proper labeling, segregation, and stacking of materials to prevent damage.

6. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with suppliers, project engineers, QA/QC, and procurement to ensure proper material flow.
• Support project teams by providing timely material updates.
• Coordinate inter-site material transfers.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
