Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Storekeeper / Inventory Controller to oversee and control site inventory operations for large-scale building construction projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ERP-based inventory systems, advanced reporting skills, and proven experience in managing construction materials while coordinating with site teams, procurement, and head office.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and control all site store and inventory operations for high-rise or large-scale construction projects
• Plan, implement, and monitor inventory control procedures in line with company and project requirements
• Receive, inspect, and verify construction materials against Purchase Orders, Delivery Notes, and ERP records
• Ensure correct storage, tagging, identification, safety, and preservation of all materials
• Authorize and supervise material issuance to site engineers, supervisors, and foremen against approved requisitions
• Maintain accurate stock registers, bin cards, and ERP-based inventory records
• Prepare and review Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), material issue slips, stock movement, and consumption reports
• Conduct regular physical stock audits and monthly inventory reconciliation using ERP systems
• Analyze material consumption trends and proactively report shortages, excess stock, damages, and slow-moving items
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and head office for material planning, replenishment, and delivery schedules
• Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and cost-control reports for management
• Support internal and external audits related to material management and inventory control
• Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, company procedures, and UAE site regulations
• Supervise junior storekeepers and store assistants (if applicable)
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and security of the site store at all times

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of UAE experience as a Senior Storekeeper / Inventory Controller in a building construction company
• Proven experience in high-rise, residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects
• Strong knowledge of civil, finishing, MEP, and general construction materials
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems for inventory and store management
• (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, Focus, Oracle Primavera, or other construction ERP software)

Computer & Reporting Skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (inventory tracking, pivot tables, formulas, reconciliation reports)
• Working knowledge of MS Word (documentation, reports)
• Experience with system-based reporting and ERP-generated dashboards
• Strong email communication and coordination skills
• Ability to prepare accurate inventory summaries, variance reports, GRN, issue, and audit reports

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
