About the Role



Manages and oversees the company's strategic and long-range goal planning function.



Responsibilities



  • Drives strategic initiatives and supports the development of long-term growth plans and profitability goals.
  • Analyzes and recommends emerging industry trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats, internal business performance, and business process improvement.
  • Communicates results to top management and develops strategies based on organizational reviews.
  • Co-conceptualizes, designs, and actions the institutional transformational agenda.
  • Generates and drives insight for internal clients and executives around experiences, profitability, effectiveness, and growth.
  • Leads the development of supporting strategies and plans.
  • Designs balanced scorecards and associated KPIs.
  • Researches, plans, and leads strategic plan initiatives.
  • Collaborates with colleges and departments to align and support planning across the holding group.
  • Identifies and promotes good practice related to strategic planning institution-wide.
  • Prepares and presents strategic planning-related reports for service and administrative departments.
  • Interacts and coordinates with consultants contracted by the department towards achieving strategic planning objectives.


Monitoring


  • Designs and reports key performance indicators to measure progress toward strategic plan goals.
  • Works closely with business units to assess their effectiveness.
  • Provides operational oversight, strategic support related to planning activities and initiatives.


Data Analysis and Reporting



  • Develops and reports on strategic planning analytics.
  • Develops managerial reports to measure attainment towards strategic goals.
  • Prepares, analyzes and presents strategic planning-related reports for business units.


Qualifications



  • Must Be Bilingual (English-Arabic).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Strategy Planning and Execution.


Required Skills



  • Strategic planning and execution expertise.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.


Preferred Skills



  • Experience in institutional transformational agendas.
  • Familiarity with balanced scorecards and KPIs.
