Senior Structural Design Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Civil/Structural Engineer with strong experience in structural design of steel and PEB structures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and detailing PEB structures, ensuring structural integrity, compliance with standards, and efficient use of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design of PEB and steel structures using industry-standard software.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, GA drawings, and shop drawings for PEB components.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing and project teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
• Evaluate material requirements and optimize structural designs for cost and efficiency.
• Review and ensure compliance with relevant design codes and standards (IS, AISC, Eurocodes, etc.).
• Troubleshoot design issues and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and drafters.
• Conduct structural inspections and quality checks at fabrication and erection stages.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest PEB design techniques, software, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in structural design, preferably in PEB or steel structures.
• Strong proficiency in structural design and modeling software:
• TEKLA Structures
• STAAD.Pro
• IDEA StatiCa
• Revit / AutoCAD / Other CAD tools
• Excellent knowledge of structural analysis, load calculations, and material specifications.
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in large-scale industrial or commercial PEB projects.
• Exposure to project management software and ERP for construction projects.
