For our office in Cairo, we are looking for:

Senior Structure Design Engineer (Egypt) - 100% (m/f)

The ideal candidate will possess at least 10 years of structural design experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of structural design and 3D analytical modeling for complex concrete structures. High-level familiarity with international codes such as Eurocode and ACI is required. While experience with various design and analysis software is expected, proficiency in Sofistik is a distinct advantage. Additionally, prior experience contributing to transportation structuresincluding metro stations, administrative buildings, and workshopswill be highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and check detailed engineering designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technicians, and take responsibility for their work.
• Act as the primary engineering contact for clients and suppliers, attend progress meetings, and respond to queries.
• Ensure all work is technically sound, meets quality and cost criteria, and adheres to relevant health and safety regulations
• Address new technical problems and provide technically sound solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of structural design experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of structural design and 3D analytical modeling for complex concrete structures.
• High-level familiarity with international codes such as Eurocode and ACI is required.
• While experience with various design and analysis software is expected, proficiency in Sofistik is a distinct advantage.
• Prior experience contributing to transportation structuresincluding metro stations, administrative buildings, and workshopswill be highly valued. Excellent written and verbal communication.
