Key Responsibilities:
- Site Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of structural construction activities to verify compliance with design drawings and specifications.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that materials, workmanship, and construction methods meet project requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve structural issues that may arise during construction, including deviations from the design or unexpected site conditions.
- Coordination: Coordinate with the site team, including contractors, subcontractors, and inspectors, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Progress Monitoring: Track project progress and identify potential delays or challenges.
- Safety Supervision: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures on the construction site.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to the site team on structural matters, including material selection, construction techniques, and problem-solving.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site inspections, quality control activities, and any deviations from the design.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in structural engineering for building projects.
- Strong understanding of structural design principles and construction practices.
- Experience with reinforced concrete (RCC) and steel structures.
- Knowledge of shoring, piling, and precast construction techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
