About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Façade/Structural Engineer to join our clients expanding team in Doha, Qatar. This role is central to the design, engineering, and delivery of world-class façade and external envelope systems on landmark projects. The successful candidate will combine technical engineering expertise with innovative problem-solving to ensure buildable, efficient, and visually striking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, detailing, and structural analysis of façade and external envelope systems, including curtain walling, standing seam roofs, bullnose cladding, and bespoke framing solutions.
• Produce and review structural reports using software such as IdeaStatica, Autodesk Robot, Tekla, and other industry-approved tools.
• Advise the design team on minimum member sizes and system optimization for value engineering.
• Support tender teams by reviewing façade packages and advising on system selection and bid strategy.
• Develop new façade systems in collaboration with the DSP Doha technical team for ongoing product innovation.
• Ensure compliance with international façade performance, sustainability, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle to ensure seamless delivery.
• Contribute to design presentations and client-facing meetings.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Façade Engineer or Structural Engineer specializing in external envelope systems.
• Strong technical background in façade engineering, with demonstrable experience in curtain walling, roofing, cladding, and structural framing systems.
• Proficiency in engineering analysis software (IdeaStatica, Autodesk Robot, Tekla, Revit, AutoCAD).
• Ability to prepare and present façade design calculations and reports to consultants and clients.
• Knowledge of materials, structural behaviour, and building physics as they apply to façade systems.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Professional registration (e.g., CEng, PE, or equivalent) preferred.
