About the Role

China National Chemical Engineering Seventh Construction Co., Ltd. (CC7) is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with strong independent design and detailing capabilities to join our multidisciplinary team in Sharjah.

In this key role, you will lead the complete structural design cycle—from Validation, Preliminary, Detailed, IFC, Shop Drawings, to As-built Drawings—for reinforced-concrete and post-tensioned (PT) structures in high-rise residential and mixed-use developments under a Design & Build contract model.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute all phases of the structural design process: Validation → Preliminary → Detailed → IFC → Shop Drawings → As-built Drawings.
• Perform structural analysis, modeling, load calculations, and design optimization.
• Supervise and guide design subcontractors and draftsmen for accuracy and quality.
• Develop efficient RC and PT systems ensuring constructability and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate closely with Architectural, MEP, and Façade teams for design integration.
• Update and modify designs based on site progress and construction feedback.
• Participate in BIM modeling and multidisciplinary coordination using Revit Structure / Navisworks.
• Support material selection, technical clarifications, and review of construction methodologies.
• Prepare and verify all structural documentation for final handover.

Requirements (Major Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 10 + years of experience in structural design and coordination (min 5+ years in UAE or GCC).
• Proven expertise in reinforced-concrete and post-tensioned (PT) structural systems — this is a core qualification for this position.
• Demonstrated ability to independently deliver complete structural design packages (Concept → As-built).
• Proficient in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, and Revit Structure.
• Strong knowledge of ACI, BS, Eurocode, and UAE design standards.
• Familiar with Sharjah Municipality, SEWA, Civil Defence, and DTPS approval processes.
• Excellent technical documentation, coordination, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; Chinese or Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Available for immediate joining.

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer / PE / SOE (UAE) license.
• Experience in Design & Build project delivery.
• Skilled in rebar and PT shop-drawing detailing.
• BIM-based multidisciplinary coordination experience.
• Background in high-rise and basement structural systems.
