A reputed and well-established Architectural & Engineering Consultancy firm in Dubai is looking for a highly qualified and experienced Structural Engineer with a valid Dubai Municipality (DM) G+12 License to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a deep understanding of structural engineering design, authority submissions, and project coordination within the UAE’s regulatory framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review structural designs, calculations, and drawings in compliance with Dubai and UAE building codes and regulations.
• Ensure successful submission and approval of structural drawings/documents with:
• Dubai Municipality (DM)
• Trakhees
• Dubai Development Authority (DDA)
• Nakheel
• RTA (Roads and Transport Authority)
• DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority)
• Etisalat
• Dubai Civil Defense (DCD)
• Coordinate with in-house architectural and MEP teams to ensure integration of structural systems within the overall building design.
• Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and government authorities for design approvals and inspections.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters.
• Oversee structural aspects during project execution where necessary to ensure design compliance.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Must hold a valid Dubai Municipality Unlimited Structural Engineer License.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in structural engineering, within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes, standards, and local authority procedures.
• Demonstrated experience handling full-cycle approval processes with relevant Dubai authorities.
• Proficient in structural design software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
