Senior Structural Steel Design Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Steel Design Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and coordination of structural steel systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work closely with project teams, fabricators, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis of steel framing systems, including beams, columns, connections, and bracing
• Develop and review structural calculations in accordance with applicable building codes and standards
• Oversee the preparation of structural drawings and models using Revit and/or AutoCAD
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, fabricators, and other engineering disciplines
• Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers
• Ensure designs meet safety, constructability, and cost-efficiency requirements
• Support project management efforts, including schedules and deliverables
