Job Summary:

The Senior Supply Chain Manager will lead and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier collaboration. This role requires deep expertise in semiconductor supply chain dynamics, supplier risk management, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader capable of navigating complex global supply chains while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Supply Chain Leadership

  • Develop and execute a global supply chain strategy aligned with corporate objectives, supporting growth, operational resilience, and evolving semiconductor market requirements.
  • Act as global process owner for Supply Chain systems and tools (including ERP and related planning platforms), driving standardization, data integrity, and productivity improvements.
  • Identify and mitigate single points of failure across the supply chain, including supplier, logistics, and outsourcing risks, and develop contingency and risk‑mitigation plans.
  • Lead supply chain digitalization and analytics initiatives (forecasting, planning, KPI reporting) to improve visibility, decision‑making, and operational performance.
  • Partner cross‑functionally—particularly with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance—to ensure tight alignment between demand planning, production, and inventory strategies.

Supplier, Vendor, and Outsourcing Management

  • Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships across direct materials, outsourced services, logistics providers, and indirect spend.
  • Lead supplier consolidation initiatives across common commodities and service providers (e.g., hardware, packaging, freight, MRO, and catalog vendors) to reduce complexity and leverage purchasing scale.
  • Own supplier selection, contract negotiations, and long‑term agreements, including outsourcing strategy and governance.
  • Establish and manage supplier performance scorecards, conducting formal quarterly business reviews to drive improvements in quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
  • Proactively identify and resolve single‑source dependencies, particularly where quality, delivery, or lead‑time risks exist.

Procurement, Cost, and Commercial Management

  • Oversee procurement planning to ensure timely availability of materials and services while balancing cost, risk, and working capital.
  • Negotiate annual pricing, volume discounts, rebates, payment terms, and vendor‑stocked inventory programs for high‑value or long lead‑time items.
  • Lead and deliver cost reduction initiatives, including strategic sourcing, value engineering, supplier negotiations, and process improvements.
  • Drive consolidated purchasing strategies across regions and business units to maximize leverage and consistency.

Inventory Planning and Optimization

  • Own end‑to‑end inventory management and optimization, including safety stocks, reorder points, regional stocking strategies, and excess and obsolete (E&O) reduction.
  • Implement and refine demand forecasting and planning processes in partnership with Sales and Operations to balance service levels with inventory investment.
  • Identify slow‑moving and obsolete inventory and collaborate with Sales and Finance on liquidation or recovery strategies.
  • Monitor and manage inventory‑related financial metrics, ensuring alignment with cash, margin, and service objectives.

Logistics and Distribution Management

  • Lead global inbound and outbound logistics strategy, optimizing freight modes, transit times, and costs while ensuring compliance with trade and customs requirements.
  • Consolidate and manage domestic and international shipping accounts, freight providers, and 3PL relationships to improve service and cost efficiency.
  • Establish best practices for warehouse and distribution center operations to improve material flow and fulfillment performance.

Performance Management and Governance

  • Define, track, and report key supply chain KPIs, including inventory turns, service levels, PPV, COGS impact, and supplier performance metrics.
  • Use data‑driven insights to identify gaps, prioritize initiatives, and hold internal teams and external partners accountable for results.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable trade regulations, contractual obligations, and internal governance standards.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing supply chain organization, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and proactive problem solving.
  • Clearly define roles, responsibilities, and decision rights across the supply chain function to support scalable and repeatable operations.
