Description
The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a Sr. Supply Chain Specialist to join our supply chain planning team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP IBP (Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization, and S&OP), with a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing processes.
You will report to the Demand Planning Manager and work a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office) from our Cranberry Twp office.
Key Responsibilities

Analyze historical sales data and market trends to generate accurate forecasts at both the aggregate level and detailed customer-location-product level.

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate promotional plans, new product launches, and market trends into forecasts.

Facilitate monthly consensus meetings with cross-functional counterparts (finance, sales, marketing, product) to gain alignment on go-forward demand plan.

Utilize IBP planning tools including Statistical Forecasting, Realignment, Phase In/Out, Aggregation/Disaggregation, and Key Figure Calculations.

Monitor forecast accuracy & track KPIs (MAPE, Bias) to identify gaps and adjust plans.

Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply planning & other operations functions.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Operations, Information Management, Computer Science, or a business-related field with 7+ years of experience.

Strong ability to analyze complex datasets to inform decision-making.

Experience using advanced Excel functionality.

Solid background in SAP IBP (Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization, S&OP) or other comparable forecasting software.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Preferred Skills

APICs certification

Experience using SAP ERP & associated systems (IBP, APO, BW/BexAnalyzer).

Familiarity with best practices for supply chain and manufacturing processes.
