Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to manage, support, and optimize the customers’ enterprise IT infrastructure. This role involves working across on-premise environments and cloud platforms (AWS & Azure), ensuring maximum uptime, performance, and security. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and experience handling complex IT environments in a fast-paced MSP setting.

Key Responsibilities1. System Administration

• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (2012–2022).
• Support and administer VMware ESXi, on-prem infrastructure, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Certificate Authority, NPS, File Server, DFS.

2. Network Management

• Troubleshoot and manage switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Ensure secure and reliable network connectivity.

3. Technical Support (L3 Level)

• Provide advanced support for server, network, and cloud-related issues.
• Ensure timely troubleshooting with minimal downtime.

4. Project Management

• Participate in system upgrades, cloud migrations, new deployments, and infrastructure rollouts.
• Ensure project deliverables are on time and within budget.

5. Documentation

• Create and maintain detailed SOPs, configurations, and IT documentation.

6. Collaboration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams and ensure IT operations align with business needs.

7. Training & Development

• Stay updated with new technologies and provide guidance to junior engineers.

8. Problem & Change Management

• Perform root-cause analysis for repeated/major incidents.
• Drive and adhere to change management processes to enhance stability.

9. Patch Management

• Test and deploy patches for servers, workstations, hypervisors, storage systems, etc.

Good to Have

• Experience in security operations: firewalls, endpoint protection, IDS/IPS.
• Knowledge of backup & disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience managing SAN/NAS/DAS storage systems.

Required SkillsCore Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Windows Servers (2012–2022).
• Excellent understanding of AD, DNS, DHCP, DFS, NPS, File Server, CA.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, ports & protocols.
• Experience with VMware / Hyper-V virtualization.
• Knowledge of SAN/NAS storage, backup & recovery tools.
• Hands-on experience with AWS / Azure / GCP cloud environments.
• Understanding of IT security principles & best practices.
