About the Role
We are looking for a
Senior Systems Test Engineer
to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the
verification and validation (V&V)
of
EV battery packs, Battery Energy Management Systems (BEMs), and Battery Management Systems (BMS)
.
You will define
test strategies
, lead test activities, interpret complex test data, and provide risk mitigation insights, directly impacting the delivery of
safe, reliable, and high-performance battery systems
.
Key Responsibilities
-
Develop and own
Design Verification/Validation Plans & Reports (DVVPRs)
aligned to product requirements and regulatory standards
-
Execute test campaigns and ensure rigorous adherence to plans, protocols, and compliance standards
-
Validate, document, and trace all test results to system-level requirements and stakeholder expectations
-
Ensure alignment with
ASPICE process maturity
and relevant industry standards (UN ECE R100, UN 38.3, ISO 12405, etc.)

Support regulatory compliance for
type approvals, homologation, and functional safety
-
Define, maintain, and implement test equipment requirements and automated testing solutions
-
Lead
root cause analysis
, corrective actions, and risk mitigation activities
-
Collaborate with
Design, Quality, Manufacturing, and Software teams
for effective integration of test feedback
Required Skills & Experience
-
Proven experience in
test engineering, validation, or verification roles
, particularly in
automotive, EV battery systems, or high-voltage powertrain domains
-
Degree (BEng, MEng, MSc) in
Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, or related engineering disciplines
-
Knowledge of
HV battery safety, electrical, mechanical, and thermal testing methodologies
-
Experience with
DVVPRs, ASPICE, ISO 12405, ISO 6469
, and other battery testing regulations
-
Proficiency in
failure analysis techniques
, root cause identification, and corrective actions
-
Prior experience in
global vehicle programs
and compliance frameworks (UNECE, FMVSS, AIS standards)
-
Strong
communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
