Samet Corporation is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to serve as a strategic advisor to hiring managers and executives across the region, owning full-cycle recruiting for our most critical roles.
As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you are the face and voice of Samet to the talent market. You’ll build relationships with top talent and industry leaders at every level, from the field to the executive suite, and translate business needs into hiring strategy. We are a growing, entrepreneurial construction company building exciting projects. We’ve doubled in size in just a few years, with offices across the Southeast (Greensboro, Charlotte, Raleigh, Wilmington, Charleston, and Savannah) and strategic plans for continued growth. Your work will be foundational to our future success.
As our Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you:
- Operate as a trusted advisor, not an order-taker. You are comfortable consulting, shaping hiring decisions, and challenging when needed
- Build strong, lasting relationships with hiring partners and a large external network
- Move with a clear sense of purpose and urgency, and work autonomously with little direction
- Understand that the best career moves take time and are built on trust and genuine communication
- Are a skilled conversationalist who structures every interaction so others do most of the talking (while you listen and learn)
- Bring strong ideas and a genuine desire to inform talent strategy and drive operational change
Your responsibilities will include:
- Serving as a strategic talent partner in operationalizing Samet’s evolving recruiting strategy and process
- Partnering with hiring managers to understand their needs, speaking to talent insights, and building comprehensive recruitment plans and sourcing strategies to meet them
- Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with hiring partners across the business
- Owning full-cycle recruiting for senior and high-impact roles across multiple business units and regions
- Proactively sourcing and engaging passive candidates for current and future needs
- Creating an exceptional candidate experience at every stage, reflecting Samet’s values and brand
- Leading offer negotiation and candidate close, partnering with hiring managers to bring consistency and expertise to a process they no longer have to navigate alone
- Serving as a steward of offer decisions, ensuring offers reflect market data, internal comparators, and sound compensation strategy
- Helping to operationalize and drive adoption of a structured interview and selection process, partnering on rollout, training, and consistent execution across hiring teams
- Partnering effectively with our third-party recruiting partners to support hiring needs
- Supporting the rollout and optimization of a modern applicant tracking system as we evolve our recruiting technology
- Building and nurturing an external talent community of high-caliber professionals excited about Samet’s future
- Leveraging recruiting data and market intelligence as needed to inform decisions and continuously sharpen our approach
- Traveling as needed to support hiring across regions, attend key events, and build in-person relationships
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8–10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally including senior or hard-to-fill roles
- Proven sourcing experience, including proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter
- Demonstrated experience influencing change and informing strategy within an organization
- Working knowledge of data analysis to measure and improve recruiting performance
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities independently
- An excellent communicator: On the phone, in writing, and in person
- Strong technology and ATS/software skills
- A brand-builder mindset, bringing ideas that elevate how we show up in the market
Construction, AEC, or other relationship-driven industry recruiting experience is a plus — if you have it, tell us about it.
