Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist (UAE National)

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Devise and implement quality hiring strategies that manage the full-life cycle of recruitment from sourcing to hiring. Support in building a sustainable talent pipeline in line with the identified workforce demand and the overall strategy.


Key Responsibilities:


Manpower Planning

  • Works closely with Unit Head to support in developing and implementing talent acquisition strategy and plan in coordination with business units for the identified workforce demand.
  • Implement the right talent acquisition policies, procedures, processes, tools, and systems to be
  • deployed to improve the timeliness and effectiveness of attracting, sourcing and onboarding the right talent in alignment with evolving priorities and changing business environments.
  • Maintain relationship with appropriate channels of sourcing CVs through recruitment agencies, job portals, social and print media.
  • Understand and work towards implementing the Emiratization strategy and program, in collaboration with the P&P Section Heads, to attract, develop and retain the right Emirati talent in line with business needs and priorities.


Recruitment Management

  • Support in the development of a continuous availability of a pipeline of qualified candidates for the museums employment needs by using the best and most up-to-date methods for recruitment, sourcing and branding.
  • Compile and assess CVs for best fit and prepare summary CVs for easier evaluation by department heads and advise candidates of outcome after assessment.
  • Understand the business unit requirements and conduct non-technical interviews with candidates to ensure shortlisting the most suitable candidates.
  • Implement and drive leading practices and recruiting initiatives to strengthen and enhance interviewing techniques and candidate experience.
  • Manage end to end recruitment process of acquiring high caliber talent at all levels in alignment with strategic objectives and organizational needs within portfolio assigned.
  • When assigned, work with Business Leaders, Rewards and Policy Section to govern salary levels and negotiate compensation with candidates.
  • Prepare job offers for successful candidates, in coordination with the Rewards and Policy section.
  • Support new employees adapting to the work culture, working schedule, necessary tools and systems.
  • Receive feedback on recruitment service quality in coordinating with business units and identify areas of improvement.
  • Keep track and contribute to all reporting on progress and number of hires.
  • Remain up to date with changing laws and HRA guidelines and ensure contracts are understood and aligned.
  • Follow and any implement any changes on assessment, tools or methodology of processes as provided and recommend enhancements to achieve optimal results. · Other duties as applicable to the role.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master Preferred) in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or any other degree within relevant industry.
  • Professional certification in Human Resources is preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in full cycle recruitment.
  • Language: Full professional English and Arabic proficiency both in speaking and writing.
  • Skilled in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to complete work in a timely manner.
  • Ability to quickly integrate with existing business software tools and knowledge of other relevant industry software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - including appropriate stakeholder alignment.
  • Evidence of creating, implementing, and managing policies and procedures.
  • Ability to multi-task and to prioritize work effectively.
  • Ability to work under own direction and high degree of initiative.
  • Knowledge in HR Databases and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of candidate sourcing and evaluation techniques.
