Senior Tax Accountant

Tahoe Real Estate Sales is a growing real estate organization committed to delivering premium property solutions and exceptional client service in Qatar. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our finance team in Lusail.

Role Overview
The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for managing tax compliance, reporting, and advisory support within the organization. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong technical tax knowledge and experience in real estate or corporate environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate tax filings, VAT returns, and related documentation
• Ensure compliance with Qatar tax regulations and applicable financial standards
• Support tax planning strategies to optimize the company’s financial position
• Maintain accurate tax records and ensure timely submissions
• Assist in audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on business operations
• Reconcile tax accounts and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams on tax-related matters
• Identify opportunities for tax efficiency and process improvement
• Support budgeting and financial forecasting with tax considerations

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field
• 4–6 years of relevant tax accounting experience
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Qatar tax laws and VAT regulations
• Experience in real estate or corporate sector is preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organizational skills
